DeSoto State Park in Fort Payne, Alabama, is hosting a series of native plant walks with naturalist Robert Wilson, “The Traveling Herbalist,” from Seven Pines Survival.
On these easy to moderate meandering hikes, Robert will identify many native plants of the southern Appalachians and will be teaching you how to recognize the natives found in the park.

The decorations and scarecrow scenes are created and donated by various individuals, businesses and school groups.
